SUMMARY: In order for the Tracyton Water District to be dissolved, it must transfer its
responsibility for street lighting within the District. The Public Utility District No.1 of Kit sap County
has agreed to assume responsibility for the street lights in the area if the City of Bremerton will bill
and collect for the services. The proposed agreement provides for billing and collection of the street
light services in the area by the City of Bremerton.
ATTACHMENTS: Proposed Interlocal Agreement
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Bremerton shall retain from its remittances to the
PUD $110 per month, which amount is subject to annual adjustment in January by an amount equal to
the change ofthe Consumer Price Index-Urban for the immediately preceding calendar year.

I move to approve the Interlocal Agreement between the City and the Public Utility District No. 1 of
Kitsap County to Provide Billing and Collection Services for Street Lights within the Former
Tracyton Water District and authorize the Mayor to execute the agreement with substantially the same
terms and conditions as Zd. D Deny D Table D Continue D No Action
