SUMMARY: The City ofBremerton is seeking aesthetic and environmental improvements to the SR
304 Transportation Improvement Project (TIP), Navy Yard Highway Phase. Improvements consist of
replacing unneeded areas of asphalt and impervious surfacing in the project with attractive, low
maintenance landscaping. The City has negotiated an Interlocal Agreement with WSDOT to provide
landscape design services for these improvements.

FISCAL IMP ACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The estimated cost is $30,023.80. These services
are included in the SR304 TIP budget funded by WSDOT Agreement # GCA-3901.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Interlocal Agreement for Professional Services between WSDOT and the City of
Bremerton to provide Landscape Design Services on the SR 304 Transportation Improvement Project, Navy
Yard Highway Phase, and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the necessary contract documents for
the agreement. ~
