Prince Hall c/o Leroy Williams 3729 "E" Street Bremerton, WA 98310 RE: 846 Burwell Mr. Williams: During the routing process for the proposed parking lot on the property at 846 Burwell, the following comments were made by the Planning Department: It appears that this project will require a grading permit as the site will be filled. If more than 100 cubic yards of fill is required, then SEPA compliance is also required. The environmental checklist should address the source, composition and method of compaction of the fill. The parking lot will require a 5 foot landscaped setback along Burwell with 1 tree per 25 feet (2 trees) . A landscape plan is required and can be included as part of the Site Plan. Minimum stall depth is 17 feet 11 inches for stalls at a 90 degree angle. Minimum aisle width is 22 feet 6 inches. A fence or wall is required along side property lines if a 5 foot landscaped setback is not provided. The Building and Engineering departments also require grading information and permits. 286 4TH STREET . BREMERTON,,WA 98310 . (206) 478-5275 An EqIUll Opportunity Emp/oy<r '"' ... I have enclosed a SEPA checklist form for your convenience. Please be advised that the checklist generally takes several weeks to process, and requires a $50.00 fee at the time of submittal. No permits may be issued for the parking lot until the checklist has been approved. If you have any questions regarding this matter, you may contact me at 478-5275. Our discus'siem wi th Mr. Pratt, Engineer, and Clty' of Bremerton requirements review for a class "Bn parking lot thes-ize of 44' X 110' disclosed that a setback was not required nor a fence or wall. I have contacted the Engineer of Art Anders'on Associates to provide additional Site Plan information (landscape grading and other information required). We have contracted with Olympic Construction Company to provide demolition, land fill, and landscape. The Con- struction Company will provide standard fill materiful of 95% and will acquire all necessary permits from the Engin- eering and Building Departments (electrical, sewer cap, water, gas etc.) If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at work ion Seattle (684-10332 from 8:00A.M. to 5:00P.M. Prince Hall c/o Leroy Williams 3729 "E" Street Bremerton, WA 98310 RE: 846 Burwell Mr. Williams: During the routing process for the proposed parking lot on the property at 846 Burwell, the following comments were made by the Planning Department: It appears that this project will require a grading permi t as the site will be filled. If more 't,han 100 cubic yards of fill is required, then SEPA comptiance is also required. The environmental checklist should address the source, composition and method of compaction of the fill. The parking lot will require a 5 foot landscape~ setback along Burwell with 1 tree per 25. feet (2 trees l. The Building and Engineering departments also require grading informa~ion and permits.
