is in the best interests of the citizens.
SUMMARY: Over the past several years the Fire Department and Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue
have looked at the possibility of consolidation/merger between the two entities. we are now at the
point of taking a comprehesive look at different finances of the two entities and seeing if it cost
effective and cost efficient to combine the two in some fashion.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Total contract of$35,080 plus $2442 for travel,
lodging, meals, postage and copying. The contract will be equally shared with no payment due frQm '" \ ~~
