SUMMARY: The Parks & Recreation Department has been working with a group of citizens to
develop a dog park where supervised dogs may go unleashed for exercise, socialization and fun. The
proposed ordinance amends the provisions ofBMC Chapters 7.04, 7.15, and 13.04 to allow unleashed
dogs in designated dog park areas within the City parks system. The Parks & Recreation Commission
has reviewed this program and recommends the revision.
