SUMMARY: Rovang and Associates is currently handling the majority of the Court's Public
Defender Representation. The current contract with Rovang and Associates expires December 31,
2005. The proposed professional services agreement retains Rovang and Associates through 2009 in
order to maintain continuity of services.
ATTACHMENTS: Proposed Professional Services Agreement
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Funds will be budgeted in the 2006,2007,2008,
and 2009 budgets for the Municipal Court to fulfill the terms of the contract.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
Move to approve the Professional Services Agreement between the City of Bremerton and Rovang
and Associates and authorize the Mayor to finalize and execute the agreement with substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented.
