Michelle:
I performed an inspection of the furnace and gas piping at the house located at 1709 Bloomington
at the request of the owner, Michael McGuire. Mr. McGuire you were concerned that the 6"
flexible duct in the laundry room was not installed correctly for use as a vent. In fact, this duct is
only providing outside air to the laundry room and is not venting the furnace. The exhaust from
the furnace is vented into the brick chimney. -If you have any questions, you may contact the
Building Department at (360)478-5275,
