This is to advise you that the subject application for Administrative
Variance to Section 315 {lot width covera_ge} of the Zoning Ordinance
has been approved. This will allow coostrectton of a carport- (attached
to the exi sti ng garage) which wi 11 crea.te a structure whi ch covers over
50% the width of the rear yard.
This variance approval is not a pemit {Ocr construction. The applicant
is required to obtain a building' c:anstruc:ttoo lJennit tnrough the usual
procedures.
This letter is a requirement of Section 1308.3 of the Zoning Ordinance
and the application which states that you will be notified upon approval
of the requested variance. If you have any objections to the granting
of this variance, you may appeal the decision by written notice to the
Secretary of the Plannin g Commission, 239 4th Street, Bremerton, WA 98310
within ten days of the date of this letter. A fee of $25.00 is reqbired
for filing an appeal.

The Administrative Variance process allows the Planning Director to consider
applications of variances to the yard setbacks, lot coverage, fence height and
parking requirements of the Residential District portions of the Bremerton Zoning
Code (see Sec. 1308.1, .12 and .3 of. Ordinance 179.2, as amended).
A fee of $50.00 must accompany this application and in the event that a hearing
is required, an additional fee of $25.00 must be submitted prior to the schedul ing
of a Planning Commission hearing, if necessary.

Section 1308.3 Right of a Hearing Before the Planning Commission provides,
liThe right of a hearing and appeal to the Planning Commission shall remain to any
aggrieved party who wishes to object to the denial or approval of an Administrative
Variance in writing to the Secretary of the Planning Commission."
