SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
Tuesday, February 3, 2004
This Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Bremerton was called to order in the City
Council Conference Room, 239 4th Street, Bremerton, Washington, Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at
5:50 P.M., with Council President Daren Nygren presiding. Council members present were Mike
Short, Carol Arends, Dianne Robinson, Wendy Priest, Cecii McConnell, and Brad Gehring.
Council members Mike Shepherd and Will Maupin were absent. Also present were City Attorney
Roger Lubovich; Chris Hugo, Director of Community Development; Interim City Clerk Paula
Johnston; and Legislative Assistant Lori Smith.
The Council convened the Executive Session to discuss "POTENTIAL LITIGATION" per R.C.W.
Chapter 42.30.100 (1) (i).
At the conclusion of the Executive Session at 6:20 P.M., President Nygren reopened the Special
Meeting.
M/S/C/U (McConnell/Short) Move to authorize the City Attorney to pursue an appeal with the
Central Puget Sound Growth Management Hearings Board of the Kitsap County Comprehensive
Plan Amendments relating to Interim Rural Forest Lands adopted by Kitsap County on or about
December 8, 2003, pursuant to Ordinance No. 311-2003.
Voted in favor of Motion: Gehring, McConnell, Nygren, Priest, Robinson, Arends, and Short
Motion carried: Unanimously
With no further business, the Special Meeting of the City Council was adjourned at 6:25 P.M.
