the City of Bremerton municipal boundaries and the City of Port Orchard proposed growth area
boundaries meet in the vicinity of McCormick North and Northwest Corporate Campus. The area is
south of Bremerton proper and west of Port Orchard, north of Old Clifton Road and west of Anderson
Hill Road. For several years, the Cities have been considerin9 appropriate delineations of municipal
boundaries and service areas to effectively and efficiently provide for urban growth that is now
underway. This effort builds on an earlier agreement regarding water service, which was the subject
of a previous letter of intent. At this time, the Cities have agreed on principles and goals set forth in
the proposed letter of intent, which will form the basis for an interlocal agreement establishing
municipal boundaries and a plan for other services in the area.
