SUMMARY: Staffis recommending that the City of Bremerton enter into a professional services
agreement with RDG Planning & Design for completion of design work and schematic design for the
Maritime Park Navel Museum, also known as Building 50. Phase I includes complete concept
renderings, master plan, interpretive plan, program and adjacencies for Building 50's adaptive reuse
into a Naval Museum. Compensation not to exceed $30,000. Phase II (contingent upon approval of
schematic design) includes completion of construction documents, plans, specifications and bid
documents for Building 50 renovation and its immediate surrounding site work. Compensation not to
exceed $96,000.
