SUMMARY: The current provisions of Chapter 2.02 of the Bremerton Municipal Code (BMC)
would be more appropriately codified in Title 1 of the BMC. The proposed ordinance recodifies
Ch. 2.02 BMC as Ch. 1.02 and updates the provisions relating to City office hours. Additionally, the
proposed ordinance recodifies Ch. 2.04 BMC relating to City Council as a new Ch. 2.02 BMC and
updates the provisions of said chapter in order to allow more flexibility and efficiency in
administering City Council business.
