SUMMARY: Request for approval of the Demolition Contract for the Dari-fresh Buildings and three
small houses at the site of the new fire station. The low bidder is Sound Construction & Equipment,
Port Orchard, WA, in the sum of $107,933 plus sales tax. The work includes abatement.
ATTACHMENTS: Demolition Bid Proposal from Sound Construction & Equipment, Inc, with
abatement, and Contract for Building Demolition.
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Cost, including tax is $117,215.24 is within
currently budgeted estimate.
