SUMMARY: The City has contracted for many years with the Naval Memorial Museum of the
Pacific (NMMP) to manage and operate the Bremerton Naval Museum (Museum) and display
artifacts the US Navy has on loan to the City of Bremerton. In June 2002 the Museum was moved to
the Amy Burnett Gallery location on Pacific Ave. At that time we entered into a new two year
agreement with NMMP for operating the Museum that included the provision that the City would pay
the cost of water, sewer, power, and gas. It was the City's intent to pay for local telephone service
and garbage, as well, and actually has been paying these bills. But, these utilities were inadvertently
left out of the agreement. Addendum #1 cures this defect and both parties agree that the City will
continue to pay for local telephone service and garbage throughout the remainder of the term.

I move to approve Addendum # 1 of the Naval Museum Agreement and authorize the Mayor to
execute the addendum in substantially the same form as presented.
