SUMMARY: To ensure safe drinking water quality, State regulations require the Bremerton Water
Utiltiy to have analyzed approximatly 1,200 bacteriological analyses each year. The Kitsap County
Health District is the closest certified laboratory for performing these analyses and have provided
satisfactory service to the Utility for over 20 years.
ATTACHMENTS: Professional Services Agreement with Scope of Work (Exhibit A)
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This expenditure has been budgeted for the Water
Utility. The Utility spends approximately $22,000 each year on bacteriological laboratory analyses.
