SUMMARY: It is anticipated that several City properties will be offered for sale and sold in the near
future. As preparation for this it is necessary to obtain appraisals on each property. The 2004 budget
did not anticipate these expenditures. It is requested that an increase to Contingency Reserve
appropriations be approved to allow these appraisals to be performed. Proceeds from the sale of these
properties will be deposited to this fund as they are sold.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): Net change to 2004 appropriations for fund 103 -
$0. Decrease ending Fund Balance by $20,000.
