SUMMARY: The City of Bremerton has received notification from the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Developmem that the City's actual 2004 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
allocation is $631,000. The City Council previously approved awarding $800,000 ($600,000 in
estimated City emitlement funds and $200,000 of CDBG program income) of the CDBG funds to
activities recommended by the CDBG Citizen's Advisory Committee. Based on the Advisory
Committee ratings it is recommended that the City Council award $ 4,650. to the Bremerton Foodline
and $26,350. to Kitsap Community Resources's Weatberization program.
ATTACHMENTS: 2004 Recommendations
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The only impact of non-passage is that we would
be unable to allocate/reallocte the funds. Otherwise there are no impacts.
