SUMMARY: The Initial Development Agreement between the City and Port Blakely Tree Farms
previously approved by City Council provides in Section 6.4 that the City may give notice to Port
Blakely any time after June 2004 if it believes diligent progress is not being made with respect to the
submission of the Master Plan and EIS. Port Blakely has requested an amendment to the Initial
Development Agreement that would extend the time after which the City may provide this notice to
Port Blakeley to June 30, 2007. Staffis recommending that Section 6.4 be deleted in its entirety and
that Section 5.3 relating to development of the Master Plan be amended to correct references to the
zoning code resulting from amendments to said code.
