SUMMARY: The City received a petition from Victor Targett to vacate a portion of First Street
located between Marion and Yantic Avenues. This right-of-way consists of steep vegetated hillside
and is not being used by the public. The petitioner is requesting the vacation to correct a previously
recorded short plat. This is a Class III right-of-way and compensation is not required in accordance
with BMC 11.20.140.
