SUMMARY: The current provisions of Chapter 2.78 of the Bremerton Municipal Code relating to
real property transactions are burdensome and result in inefficiem administration and processing of
real estate transactions. The proposed ordinance simplifies the process for real property transactions
by requiring all sales and purchases of real property by the City be subject to City Council approval
upon terms and conditions as approved by the City Council and, further, by providing other provisions
related to real property transactions.
