SUMMARY: Sealed bids for construction of the project titled "SR 304 Transportation Improvement
Project; The Downtown Phase - Stage 1E" were opened on March 31, 2004. The engineer's estimate
for the project is $1,286,237. FOb r bids were received for this project.
CA Carey Corporat ion was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder
with a bid of $ 1,348,817.00 (including sales tax).

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The project is funded by Federal Highway
Administration and State Transportation Improvement Board funds and is included in the 2004
budget.
