SUMMARY: A committee comprised of three city staff and two Bremerton Regional Library staff
interviewed candidates to perform architectural services for the Downtown Bremerton/Martin Luther
King Jr. library renovation project. Miles Yanich & Company was selected by the committee to
perform architectural services and prepare "record drawings" for the library since such as-built
drawings are not available. A contract with Mr. Yanich's company in the amount not to exceed
$38,000 for library architectural services and up to $14,986 for the preparation of "record drawings"
for the library has been prepared for approval by the City Council.
ATTACHMENTS: AIA Contract between the City of Bremerton and Miles Yanich & Company
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The library capital project budget of $419,000 has
funds set aside in the mount of $52,98)6 for architectural services.
