SUMMARY: The professional services contract presented is for consultant services to prepare a
required SEPA (State Environmental Policy Act) analysis of the 2003-2004 Comprehensive Plan
Update. The document prepared will be a full EIS (Environmental Impact Statement). Total contract
amount is $65,000 (see fiscal impacts section below for details)
ATTACHMENTS: Proposed professional services agreement (with exhibits)
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The project addressed is funded by a budgeted
general fund expenditure of $35,000 and State Grant of $30,000. No additional funding is requested

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
I move to approve the professional services agreement for ~Comprehensive Plan SEPA analysis
between the City of Bremerton and _Huckell/Weinman Associates, Inc. and authorize the Mayor to
finalize and execute the agreement pursuant to substantially the same terms and conditions as
presented.
