SUMMARY: Cathy Johnson has been appointed to the position of Finance Officer within the
Department of Financial Services effecive July 1, 2004. Cathy's currant salary as Deputy City
Treasurer is Band 14, Rate 8 ($5,973/month). Since Cathy has more than 25 years of financial and
accounting experience with the City of Bremerton and will assume the added responsibiities of this
new Finance Officer position, it is recommended that her salary be adjusted to Band 16, Rate 6
($6,276/month)
ATTACHMENTS: Letter of Appointment
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The fiscal impact will be an additional $1,818 in
personnel cost in the Finance division budget. At this time, no additional budget appropriation is
anticipated.
