SUMMARY: Pursuant to RCW 41.56, negotiations have concluded between representatives of the
City and the Teamsters resulting in the attached Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). These
negotiations have been discussed with Council in Executive Sessions. This CBA replaces the current
one that expired on December 31, 2003. The new CBA is for a two (2) year term, beginning January
1, 2004 through December 31, 2005. It was ratified by the Teamsters' membership on August 10,
2004. Council approval is required to implement this agreement.
