SUMMARY: On March 5, 2004, the City of Bremerton and Tracyton Water District entered into an
Interlocal Agreement for Assumption of Rights, Powers, Duties, Obligations and Transfer of Assets
of Water District. The proposed amendment to interlocal clarifies that the transfer of assets from the
District to the City occur on the closing date of the interlocal agreement as opposed to the date of
dissolution of the District and further finalizes details of the transaction including provisions relating
to a loan to the District by the City, customer surcharges, and street lighting billing.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
I move the approve the Amendment to Interlocal Agreement Between the City of Bremerton and
Tracyton Water District and authorize the Mayor to execute the amendment with substantially the
same terms and conditions as presented and further, to authorize the Mayor to execute any and all
other documents necessary to carry out the terms of the amendment.
