SUMMARY: The BMC Chapter 2.50, Section 2.50.032 (a) requires Council approval for an initial
salary rate which exceeds Rate 1. Council approval is requested to the salary rate of Mark
McLaughlin as Budget Analyst for the Department of Financial Services at Pay Band 10, Rate 4
($4,442/month) based upon his more than twenty-five years of his extensive budget and finance
experience.
ATTACHMENTS:
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): There will be a salary savings of $461 per month
due to the proposed salary level of the new Budget Analyst being four steps lower than the incumbent.
