SUMMARY: The Bremerton water system has a sophisticated computer system that provides
controls, security, and alarms for water sources, treatment, and distribution. This system is comprised
of many individual control units, data inputs, and alarms. The Utility is in the final stages of
converting the telephone system to a radio system and will continue upgrading the control and
security of the water system. Technical Services, Inc. has performed much of the integration of this
system and is well-qualified and skilled in this type of technical work. This contract would provide
on-call service, design, programming, training, and other services as needed by the Water Utility, not
to exceed $40,000 per year.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): This work is budgeted in the Water Utility fund
under W. ater Resources operation and maintenance.
