SUMMARY City Council is required to formally appoint Committees to write statements "For"
and "Against" the City Charter Amendment Ballot Measure. Committee members do not have to be
residents of the City. Each Committee shall have no more than three members, however, a
Committee may seek the advice of any person in preparing their statement(s).
