Attached is a contract proposal to purchase MSA Self Container Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and miscellanous equipn
The miscallanous equipment is emergency quick fill by-pass hoses and a test bench/equiPment to work on our own
equipment. This is a sole source pumhase because there are no other sources to pumhase M~, equipment or parts.
That the Bremerton City Council authorize the MSA Self Contained Breathing Apparatus and equipment
as proposed.

Without the equipment the FYe Department wouU not be able to repair or test their equipment and woutd have to
contract out the service.

The revenue for the purchase of the f're hose will come out of the pubic safety bond - equipment category.
