4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
Attached is a contract proposal to purchase a the Bkhart fire nozzles for the new fire engines. The city has received
an excellent price through an Interbcal Agreement with King County Fire District fl44.
That the Bremerton City Council authorize the purchase of Flkhartflre nozzles from the SeaWestern
proposal.

5. IMPACT ON NON-PASSAGE:
This purchase was priced with King County Fie District #44 and the City of Bremerton has received a huge price
reduction. If we were to go out to bid at a later date by ourselves, the price would be at a higher price.

The revenue for the purchase of the f're hose will come out of the pubic safety bond - enghe category.
