SUMMARY: The City applies for and accepts the Washinton Traffic Safety Commission
Bremerton-Kitsap County Traffic Safety Task Force Project Grant funding for $65,750.00 A local
match of seventy-five percent (75%) is required for this project. New money is not needed. Cash
match is not required. In-kind-service match is acceptable. This project directly contributes to the
reduction and severity of traffic related deaths and injuries in Bremerton and Kitsap County. In
addition, the grant establishes and serves as the primary funding source for the Traffic Safety
Coordinator's salary and wages. The period of performance of this agreement is from July 1, 2003
through June 30, 2005.
ATTACHMENTS: 1. Project Agreement Documents
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The City has budgeted approximately $11,564.00
in costs over the two year contract.
