SUMMARY: In 1998 the Navy leased two plots of land, one at the north end of the park and one at
the south end of the park - each measuring approximately 36 square feet and each to be used for the
installation, operation and maintenance of a monitoring well. The lease expires May 31, 2003. The
Navy wishes to extend this arrangement for another five years. For this they will continue to pay rent
of $100 per year.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The Department receives $100 per year. There
are no City maintenance or operations issues associated with this property.
