SUMMARY: The current criteria in Chapter 11.02 of the Bremerton Municipal Code provides for
long-term use of City right-of-ways up to five years. The proposed ordinance provides for extended
long-term right of way use permits up to 10 years under certain circumstances. These circumstances
may include structures, facilities, and uses that involve capital expenditures and long-term
commitment of use for private development.
