SUMMARY: City staffhave prepared a new Transportation Development Code Ordinance that
defines the repsonsibility of development with regard to transportation improvements. The new
ordinance repeals existing BMC Chapter 15.01.100 entitled "System Devlopment and Construction
Standards," and replaces it with a new Chapter 15.01.100, amends Chapter 11.08 and Chapter 11.10
relating to sidewalk construction and maintenance, adds a new Chapter 11.12 entitled "Transportation
Development Code" and amends Sectionl3.10.080. Attached is a summary o£the major features o£
the Transportation Development Code ordinance.
