SUMMARY: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 4357 established the Mayor's compensation through the
budget. The proposed ordinance repeals section 2 of Ordinance No. 4357 and establishes the Mayor's
salary and benefits by ordinance outside of the annual budget process. The ordinance does not change
the current salary.
