SUMMARY: The proposed ordinance invokes the City's authority under Chapter 35.81 RCW, "The
Housing Cooperation Law," to aid and cooperate with the Bremerton Housing Authority and the
Kitsap County Consolidated Housing Authority in the planning, undertaking and construction of
housing projects by providing for planning and development parameters for the redevelopment of
Westpark in order to provide for housing and other related uses as authorized by said law.
