SUMMARY: In order to implement the proposed agreement with Webcheck, Inc. to provide
electronic service for accessing lien and utility information for title and escrow companies, a search
fee needs to be established by ordinance. It is recommended that the fee be set at $30 per search of
each parcel requested.
ATTACHMENTS: Ordinance
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amoum): Passage will enable the City to collect a search fee
which could result in annual revenue of $60,000 or more.
