SUMMARY: In order to fund the development of the Bremerton Skatepark, we wish to apply to the
Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation (lAC) for a Youth Athletic Facilities (YAF) grant.
The total cost for the project is estimated to be $ 300,000. The IAC grant request will be for a
maximum of $150,000. The match (balance of funding) will be coming from donations and other
grants. There is already a commitment of $25,000 from the Central Lions Charitable Foundation and
a $20,000 C.D.B.G grant for Design. We are in the process of applying for additional funding for
this project.

FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): lfthe grant and donations solicitations are
successful, there will be no impact directly on the budget. There will be some minimal impact
regarding administering the project.
