SUMMARY: The City of Bremerton Police Department is providing a full-time School Resource
Officer to assist faculty, staff, students and families at Bremerton High School, Junior High School
and Mountain View Middle School. The Bremerton School District is funding $22,500.00 from
September i, 2003 to August 31, 2004 towards the cost of the SRO. Staff is recommending that this
contract be extended.
ATTACHMENTS: Professional Service Agreement Extension
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): $22,500.00 in revenue will be paid to the general
fund and a full-time dedicated police officer serves as an SRO.
