SUMMARY: Puget Sound Energy facilities were damaged during a storm. In order to conduct
repairs and mitigate damage, it was necessary for Puget Sound Energy to place facilities in a location
other than within current easement areas. The proposed easement grants an easement to Puget Sound
Energy for placement of the facilities in necessary areas.

RECOMMENDED MOTION:
I move to approve the grant of an easement to Puget Sound Energy for facilities in the areas described
in the proposed easement and authorize the Mayor to execute the easement with substantially the same
terms and conditions as proposed.
