SUMMARY: As a member of the Kitsap County HOME Consortium, the City of Bremerton
receives an annual allocation of HOME funds fiom the Departmem of Housing and Urban
Development (HUD) to expand the supply 0f safe, sanitary and affordable housing for low income
persons. City Council is responsible to make the final determination concerning use of the funds.
The Department of Community Development has received an application fiom Habitat for Humanity
requesting $69,000.00 to purchase two pieces of property on Arsenal Way,
