SUMMARY: The City of Bremerton Police Department has a contract with the Bremerton Housing
Authority to provide police service for the Westpark housing development. The contract was
rewritten and updated to meet BHA grant and community policing requirements. The contract
identifies staffing levels, financial terms and specific services. The contract is for one year.
ATTACHMENTS: Contract for Supplemental Police Services
FISCAL IMPACTS (Include Budgeted Amount): The Breme~ton Police Department dedicates one
Patrol officer to support the contract for one year. The BHA funds the full-time officer and services
according to the contract.
