4. SUMMARY STATEMENT COUNCIL ACTION:
The City received a petition to vacate a portion of the alley located between Pacific
and Cogean Avenues and between 9th and Streets. This right-of-way consists of a portion of undeveloped
right-of-way that abuts the applicant's ~erty and is not being used by the public. The vacation is being
requested by Mariejocelyn Almerol to her property. The City Council is being requested to establish a
heating date of April 30, 2003, to the proposed vacation. The applicant has met all of the conditions
required by the Bremerton Code to move forward to a heating. Staff recommends passage of the
proposed Resolution.
