4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
Pursuant to Chapter 2.05, section 2.05.020 of the Bremerton Municipal Code, Mayoral appointments of
department directors are subject to confirmation by the City Council. The Mayor desires to formally appoint
Mr. Michael R. Wilson as Director of Finance with an employment start date of December 2, 2002.
5. RECOMMENDATION:
Motion to approve the appointment of Michael R. Wilson as Director of Finance for the City of Bremerton
effective as of December 2, 2002 and authorize the Mayor to execute an employment contract in substantially
the same and conditions as the proposed contract.
