4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
The current provisions of the Bremerton Shoreline Master Program provide that downtown waterfront site
development standards be regulated by the Downtown Waterfront Urban Renewal Plan. A companion
ordinance the Downtown Waterfront Urban Renewal Plan. The proposed ordinance amends the Shoreline
Master Program to allow development of the downtown waterfront in accordance with new development
standards and regulations.
