4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
Three Parks and Recreation Board Commissioner's terms have expired. One Commissioner has
resigned. It is necessary to re-appoint those Commissioners whose terms have expired and appoint a new
Commissioner to fiH the unexpired term of a Commission resignee. All three Commissioners with
expired terms wish to be reappointed and the Mayor recommends such action by the Council. The
Mayor also recommends Council action to appoint Steve Cords as a new Commissioner.
5. RECOMMENDATION:
1. Approve re-appointment of Position 2 Commissioner Nick Garguile Sr.; Position 4 Commissioner
Douglas Groneman; and Position 7 Commissioner Susan Bell to the Bremerton Parks and Recreation
Commission.
2. Approve appointment of Steve Cords to fill the unexpired term for Position 1 on the Bremerton Parks
Recreation Conunission.
