Last Wednesday the City Council passed the resolution placing the Public
Safety Bond Levy on the Septe~er 17, 2002 Primary Election.
If the City desires to participate in the local voters pamphlet it must
appoint persons known to favor the measure to serve on the co~ittee
advocating approval and shall, whenever possible, appoint persons known to
oppose the measure to serve on the co~ittee advocating rejection. No
co~ittee shall have more than three me~ers; however a co~ittee may seek
the advice of any person or persons in preparing their statements.
Statements for and against measures shall not exceed 200 words. Statements
must be submitted to the county auditor by August 5~h.
