4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION:
Approval of this 2001 Budget Amendment will amend the Management/Professional Pay Plan to reflect the recommendations
of the eonsaltant in order to maintain the integrity of the study. Employees who were proposed to receive salary increases
pumuaot to the study would be reclassified and paid in accordance with the study or their current reclassification, whichever
is higher. All increases would be retroactive to January I, 2002. The amount required to fund this amendment is $52,604.
Motion to amend the 2002 budget in the amount of $$2,604 to reflect the recommendations of the consultant for the
Management/Profe~ional positions in order to maintain the integrity of the study. Employees who were proposed to receive
uklgry jncrea~e~ pursuant to the study would be reclassified and paid in accordance with the study or their current
cl.a~fication, whichever is higher.
