4. SUMMARY STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENT FOR COUNCIL ACTION: The Interlocal
Agreemem between Kitsap County Public Facilities District, Kitsap County and the City of Bremerton provides
the basic elements and processing for funding the $6.9 million contribution by the PFD for the Regional
Conference Center along with basic requirements and review by the PFD during the design and construction
phases.
5. RECOMMENDATION: Move to authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the City of Bremerton, to enter into
and sign the Interlocal Agreement Regarding Funding, Development and Operation of the Kitsap Regional
Conference Center.

9. IMPACT OF NON-PASSAGE: We would lose the major funding for the Hotel/Conference Center project
that is crucial at this time.

The Hotel/Conference Center PFD funding will help pay the impact on staffing, budget and facilities for
the project.
